EquallyAble’s New Initiatives:

#TakeMe2School: Transportation plays a critical role in the lives of people with disabilities. One-third of children with disabilities can’t attend school due to a lack of transportation. EquallyAble is working to provide students with disabilities transportation to school that is:

  • Shared community transportation
  • Low cost and reliable
  • Accessible and customized to the needs of each student

#Path2Inlusion: To help people with disabilities, their families, and their communities succeed we need new thinking and bold new programs. EquallyAble wants to help people with disabilities have the opportunity to contribute to society and prosper. We are working to provide the following to people with disabilities:

  • Leadership development
  • Workshops and summits
  • Smart phone apps that improve social inclusion

About EquallyAble:

EquallyAble finds ways to empower people with disabilities and improve social inclusion all over the world. Too often people with disabilities are left behind.

  • Over 1 billion people are living with disabilities around the world
  • Only 5% of children with disabilities complete primary school
  • In developing countries, 80-90% of people with disabilities are unemployed

With your support and encouragement, EquallyAble has transformed the lives of thousands of people with disabilities around the world.
